Multiple sources have announced that Indira Varma, who has been in many productions but is best known to me as “Suzie Costello” in Torchwood, has joined the cast of Human Target as a series regular.

She will play “Ilsa,” the new boss of Christopher Chance and his crew.

What amazes me is how Human Target will now be on Friday nights, when the only other DC Comics-related TV series, Smallville., is expected to remain.

On the bright side, Terra Nova has been picked up for midseason. That one sounds cool. And they’ve also announced a post-Super Bowl episode for Glee.

Word has just come in that FOX has ordered a second season of Human Target.

The initial order is for 13 episodes.

Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello, who is also reporting this news, says that Chuck executive producer Matt Miller will be joining the series to run the show alongside Jon Steinberg.
