Grace Park of Battlestar Galactica fame has joined the cast of the CBS Hawaii Five-O pilot.
She will be playing Kono Kalakaulau, Chin Ho Kelly’s niece. Chin Ho is played by LOST‘s Daniel Dae Kim.
Her character is described as “a beautiful and smart champion surfer who is about to graduate from the police academy when McGarrett recruits her to join his team.”
Show of hands… does anyone else remember when she was on Edgemont? Just seeing who’s paying attention…
The Five-O pilot should be shooting very soon.

Battlestar Galactica and Bionic Woman showstealer Katee Sackhoff has been cast in a new TV drama pilot in contention for a spot on the ABC Fall schedule.
The title of this Richard Hatem-produced pilot is not yet revealed, but Sackhoff plays a beautiful detective who teams with a disgraced ex-cop to solve crimes and also to uncover the truth of what happened to disgrace him.
Sackhoff is currently appearing on FOX’s 24.
