supernatural-season-9-posterHere it is:

AN ANGEL WAR BEGINS — After a massive angel slaughter occurs, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) arrive at the scene to investigate and are surprised to run into Castiel (Misha Collins).  While investigating, Castiel is captured and tortured.  Meanwhile, Dean questions Ezekiel’s demands and wonders if it might be time to tell Sam the truth.  Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner (909).

Trivia: Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner worked for a production shingle called “December 3rd Productions” in the Lois & Clark days. Appropriate air date there, eh?

About Craig Byrne, Editor-In-Chief

  1. So this is the fourth appearance of Cas this season, and in episode one he had to drive into a tree to escape an angel, in episode two he was tied to a chair and tortured, in episode three he was attacked and tortured by another angel, anyone see a trend developing? But considering the writing team on this episode, I’m not surprised, all their ideas are conned from other shows, or old episodes of SPN.

  2. It makes perfect sense that the angels are pissed at Castiel. Since he derailed the apocalypse which ended up with Michael in the Cage and Raphael dead there has been chaos in Heaven. When he became God he killed a huge number of Raphael’s followers then he was the cause of the angel’s fall. Of course they’re angry. Everything that has does make logical sense and it loosely based on the bible. If you don’t like the story line what would you prefer a situation comedy? Carver and Singer told us the angels are all going to have different agendas. But even before this when did Castiel ever have it easy? Zachariah, Uriel, Raphael, Lucifer even Anna were enemies and he was dragged up to heaven to be punished by Naomi more than once. He even went insane when he took on Sam’s Cage memories.

  3. I am so tired of poor Cass!! Give him his grace back and get back to Dean and Sam hunting. Cass being human is just old. The more they show of him the less we get of Sam and Dean. Also, why is it that Dean is the one with all the sweet moments and the friendships? Give Sam a friend now and them! Or better yet lets have more brother moments or maybe even let them have some fun times together!!!

  4. I actually want more of Castiel. I feel that him and Dean are beginning to deft apart, and that needs to be fixed pronto! I mean, we did just find out that the original script had Dean telling Cass he loved him.. So where is that love? I know thy Dean needs Cass out of the way because of Ezikial, but he needs to be with Cass more, or at least call the guy!
