The CW has set its late summer 2020 schedule, which includes Canadian drama Coroner and horror anthology Tell Me a Story moving from fall. The CW Moves Coroner and Tell Me a Story to Summer

After picking up Patrick Dempsey financial drama Devils and inserting it into the fall 2020 schedule, The CW has made another scheduling tweak, this time concerning its summer plans. The network will now premiere Canadian procedural Coroner and cancelled CBS All Access anthology Tell Me a Story in summer, with the former premiering Wednesday, August 5th at 9:00 and the latter airing Tuesdays at 9:00 beginning July 28th.

It’s as yet unclear how their exodus to summer impacts the fall schedule and whether this is a sign The CW plans to have a limited amount of scripted originals along with its fleet of acquired and unscripted programming.

Elsewhere, the network will be premiering horror whodunnit competition series Killer Camp on Thursday, July 16th; comedy panel game show Taskmaster on Sunday, August 2nd at 8:00; family-centric cooking competition Fridge Wars on Sunday, August 2nd at 9:00; docuseries Being Reuben, about a Welsh teenager who went viral on Little Big Shots and is now juggling social media fame with real life, on Friday, August 7th at 9:00; and British video game comedy Dead Pixels on Tuesday, August 18th at 8:00.
