DC Comics fans in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland will be happy to learn that DC’s Stargirl has been picked up by HBO Nordic with a weekly release schedule starting May 19 — the same day the series premieres on The CW.

The series starring Brec Bassinger and Luke Wilson explores the legacy of the Justice Society of America as injustice seems to permeate the town of Blue Valley. DC’s Geoff Johns — co-creator of Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl) in the comic books — developed the series, which will air in the United States on DC Universe and The CW.
