IFC has set a premiere date for the upcoming third season of Stan Against Evil. The series, which stars John C. McGinley and Janet Varney, will begin airing its next eight episodes Wednesday, October 31st at 10:00. It’s as yet unclear whether IFC will be airing two episodes a week as it’s done for the first time seasons.
Season three of Stan Against Evil picks up immediately after the second season finale, which found Willard’s Mill overran by evil forces as a result of Stan’s deal with Gerard Duquette. Now Stan and Evie must band together to save the town by any means necessary.
Set to guest star on the third season of Stan Against Evil are Scott Adsit (30 Rock) as an apathetic demon-plumber who gets mixed up with the Miller family; Maria Bamford (Lady Dynamite) as no-nonsense Nurse Pickles, who may not be as helpful as she initially seems; Matt Braunger (Agent Carter) as Dr. Barlow, an earnest surgeon at the local hospital; Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad) as Zach, a character in a popular fictional vampire show who makes a connection with Denise; and Eddie Pepitone (The Muppets) as middle-aged townie (and former gorilla impersonator) Lenny.
Stan Against Evil is part of a scripted lineup for IFC that includes Brockmire and Documentary Now!.
