FOX has released the official trailer for upcoming family comedy Son of Zorn and in it, we see that being an animated warrior from an island in the Pacific is easier than dealing with daily life in suburbia.
From Eli Jorne and Reed Agnew (Wilfred), Son of Zorn tells the story of Zorn (Jason of Sudeikis), an animated warrior who trades a life of epic battles and heroism for a life of normalcy in the suburbs. In hopes of reconnecting with his ex-wife Edie and son Alangulon (aka Alan), Zorn puts away his sword for good and heads to Orange County, but things are complicated by the fact that Edie is engaged. Nonetheless, Zorn gets a job as an industrial soap salesman and sets about adjusting to active fatherhood, the minutiae of everyday human life, and a world without glombeasts, wolf-bats, and arachnobots.
In addition to Sudeikis, Son of Zorn stars Cheryl Hines (Suburgatory), Tim Meadows (Saturday Night Live), Artemis Pebdani (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), and Johnny Pemberton (21 Jump Street).
