Are you a fan of television? Want to reach an audience of thousands of readers daily? Maybe you’d like to join the KSiteTV team.

The short version: Although there have been some guest columnists from time to time here at KSiteTV, and there is (of course!) a team of moderators who give up time at the forums to make things run smoothly, a lot of what you read here has been written by webmaster, editor, and writer of this very piece, Craig Byrne. (Hi!)

What are we looking for?

First and foremost, we’d like people who love TV. Not just writing about it for the sake of, but because TV is something they enjoy. Previous website or writing experience is in almost all cases a must. We need people who are reliable, and most of all, if you have a regular column you might be interested in – say you want to review/recap Ringer every week or something like that – that would be great. Some ongoing features for different days of the week are high on our list of things we’d like to see as we go into KSiteTV’s third year.

If news is the beat you’d like to be on, there could be room for you there too.

There are some catches. Sadly, KSiteTV is not at this point a very profitable venture, so there’s no pay involved at this time. But it is a great way to introduce people to your work, and we’d happily do links to your own blog or work to help you become more known, if there’s such a place to link to. You’d have to be willing to submit material on a regular basis and be okay with the occasional edits.

If this is something you would be interested in, send an e-mail to Please include some links to things you have previously written and why you’d be interested in joining up in the first place… mentioning what shows you’d like to cover is definitely a plus. If you don’t hear back immediately, it’s surely not a reflection on your work, but probably more that the site will expand slowly, on a case-by-case basis. Please submit only once unless you’re asked to send more. Being friends with the webmaster isn’t a guaranteed “in” so please don’t play that card.

If you don’t want to join the team but there are things you’d like to see on the site, feel free to use that e-mail and let us know.

Thank you for your time – hopefully this will get some responses!
