The highly anticipated second season of Freeform’s Mortal Instruments TV series Shadowhunters may not be here until January 2 — you can find a trailer here at KSiteTV — but that hasn’t stopped the youth-skewing cable channel from releasing photos from the Season 2 premiere.
Shadowhunters Season 2 begins with Valentine and The Circle growing stronger thanks to their possession of the Mortal Cup and Jace’s allegiance. Meanwhile, the response from The Clave proves disappointing to Clary, Alec, and Isabelle, fostering disillusion toward the Shadowhunter governing body and forcing loyalties to be tested with the fate of the world up in the air. The Season 2 premiere is called “The Guilty Blood.”
