The fourth episode of The CW’s Roswell, New Mexico airs tonight (February 5) at 9PM ET/PT, one of the rare alternatives to the State of the Union programming that will be seen on most other networks.
Episode 4 is called “Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?” and KSiteTV spoke with Executive Producers Carina Adly MacKenzie and Christopher Hollier last week for some teases about the aftermath of the cliffhanger at the end of last week’s show.
Regarding the situation and the blackout Max Evans (Nathan Dean Parsons) caused — which is definitely not a small one — MacKenzie points out that “Max is a guy who carries a lot of weight on his shoulders anyway” so this is a big deal. Even worse, it’s during a heatwave, and the hospital generators aren’t working very well.
“So he has to go be a big hero in this episode,” Carina teased. “What I’m really excited about is that Max and Kyle (Michael Trevino) actually have a few scenes together, where we explore the idea of Max being a healer and Kyle being a healer in very, very different ways. It’s a cool episode.”
“One of the things that I love about [Episode] 4 is that we put our heroes in a situation were they have to deal with the back half of what they set in motion,” Hollier added. “You talk about a call to arms for a hero; at some point you cannot deny being a hero any longer. Max caused a problem, and I think it’s going to be fun for the audience to be like ‘well, what is he going to do now that he caused the problem’?”
And if you think last week ended spectacularly, stay tuned for something big at the end of Roswell, New Mexico Episode 4.
“This week’s episode ends with quite a big reveal,” MacKenzie teased.
