USA will be premiering the fourth season of cartel drama Queen of the South Thursday, June 6th at 10:00, it was revealed today.
Season three concluded with James surrendering himself to Devon Finch in order to keep Teresa from the CIA; Camila banished into exile at the hands of Teresa; Isabella making it across the border without her mother; and Colonel Cortez meeting his end thanks to a chainsaw. With her smuggling operation from Sinaloa to Phoenix up and running, what was Teresa to do with herself?
Season four finds Teresa, Pote, Javier, and King George relocating to New Orleans where she attempts to expand her businesses while enjoying the fruits of her labor for the first time. However, Teresa soon finds herself entwined with a local musician (Bailey Chase) and doing battle with highly connected Cuban drug dealer Raul “El Gordo” Rodriguez (Pepe Rapazote) and Judge Cecil Lafayette (David Andrews), a dangerous adversary from one of Louisiana’s most famous blue blood families.
Also set to join Queen of the South for season four is Alimi Ballard (Numb3rs) as Marcel Dumais, Creole leader of a local street gang and owner of a hip jazz club.
