With powers from the past, it’s only fitting that we don’t have to wait far into the future to see the premiere of Power Rangers Dino Charge.
Nickelodeon has released the first episode, “Powers from the Past,” on their website and Nick.com apps today. This came after a swift Twitter campaign, where the official site asked for 100 RTs and got over 1,100 before the night ended. So much for a challenge!
This is over a week earlier than its intended premiere date, which Nickelodeon is still holding to. So if you’d like to wait and watch it live, the episode will still air Saturday, February 7 at 12/11c on Nickelodeon (with our review following promptly after.) The official synopsis for the episode is:
Millions of years after the mysterious and powerful Energems were entrusted to the now extinct dinosaurs for protection from a ruthless bounty hunter, a pair of courageous teens find themselves in possession of two of these long lost precious artifacts, and come face to face with a monster who will do everything in his power to steal them for himself.
Additionally, Nickelodeon and Saban released an official cast image (above) and a couple of preview clips. One clip featuring The Keeper is on their website, and another, featuring the first transformation of two new Rangers, is available below.
