Pop TV has revealed that the fourth season of acclaimed comedy One Day at a Time will premiere Tuesday, March 24th at 9:30 where it’ll follow the final episodes of Schitt’s Creek. The series will then shift to 9:00 starting April 14th.

“The enthusiastic response from fans since announcing our new season of One Day at a Time has been thrilling,” said Brad Schwartz, President, Pop TV. “The series is more important than ever with its unmatched ability to tackle topical social issues through the lens of a relatable, loving family. The exceptionally talented team behind and in front of the camera make us proud to have One Day at a Time at home at Pop TV.”

One Day at a Time spent its first three seasons on Netflix, where it earned rapturous reviews, several award nominations, and a cult following. When it was cancelled about a month following its third season premiere, there was a passionate internet campaign to save the show, which had connected with people so deeply due to its positive representation and substantive storytelling. A couple months later, there was word that Pop was interested and this past June, the network made it official by rescuing the series from cancellation.

One Day at a Time is part of a scripted slate for Pop TV that includes Schitt’s Creek, Flack, and Florida Girls. The network previously granted a series order to Best Intentions, a comedy following a high school guidance counselor (Daniel Rashid) attempting to romantically woo a fellow teacher (Lindsey Gort).
