“Gregg Araki has created a vibrant world filled with relatable characters and relationship storylines and we have found that many fans want to consume this content as soon as possible,” said Carmi Zlotnik, president of programming for Starz. “We are giving this audience every opportunity to dive into the crazy world of Now Apocalypse and ride the roller coaster of the season at their own pace.”

From Gregg Araki (Kaboom) and sex columnist Karley Sciortino, Now Apocalypse tells the story of Ulysses (Avan Jogia), a directionless Los Angelino who’s been having foreboding nightmares that make him question his reality. The series follows Uly as he tries to navigate a complicated L.A. dating scene, figure out what he wants to do with his life, and determine whether a sinister conspiracy is actually going on around him or if he’s just smoking too much weed.

In addition to Jogia, the series stars Beau Mirchoff (Awkward.), Kelli Berglund (Lab Rats), and Roxane Mesquida (Gossip Girl), with the likes of Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf), Desmond Chaim (The Shannara Chronicles), and Jacob Artist (Glee) recurring.

Now Apocalypse will continue to air Sundays at 9:00 on Starz until its linear season finale on May 12th.
