Another Nail In The No Ordinary Coffin? Julie Benz Signs On To A CBS Pilot

No Ordinary Family Julie Benz Only a few days after it was announced that No Ordinary Family star Michael Chiklis was doing a comedy pilot, now it's been revealed by Deadline that Julie Benz, who plays his TV wife Stephanie Powell, has signed on to co-star in a CBS pilot.

The pilot from Susannah Grant is currently untitled, but Benz will play the sister of the main character, "an unfocused and overwhelmed single mother with a huge heart."

No Ordinary Family is still not confirmed as canceled with all casting announcements pointing out that these roles are "in second position" to NOF if it should be back for a second year. But right now, it doesn't look or sound very encouraging that the show will be back...

  1. Does anyone seriously still believe this show will be renewed??? It's 45 minutes of nothing, and now that it's much too late they bring in Lawless to save this mess???

Glad to see the stars have other jobs lined up.
