FOX has released the trailer for A.I. drama Next and in it, we see a world where technology is threatening to take over.
From Manny Coto (24), Next is described as a fact-based thriller grounded in the latest A.I. research. The series follows narcissistic tech company CEO Paul LeBlanc (John Slattery) and Homeland Cybersecurity Agent Shea (Fernanda Andrade) as they team up to stop the world’s first artificial intelligence crisis: the emergence of a rogue A.I. with the ability to continuously improve itself.
In addition to Slattery and Andrade, Next stars Michael Mosley (Ozark), Eve Harlow (Juno), Aaron Moten (Disjointed), Gerardo Celasco (Moneyball), Elizabeth Cappuccino (Super Dark Times), Evan Whitten (Mr. Robot), and Jason Butler Harner (Changeling).
