Hulu has expanded its partnership with Marvel by ordering live-action series focused on Ghost Rider and the Helstrom siblings.
Marvel’s Ghost Rider follows Robbie Reyes, a man living on the Texas/Mexico border whose supernatural bind to a demon is a power he struggles to control. However, it’s all worth it for the vengeance he can wrought with the innocents he encounters. Ingrid Escajeda (Justified) will serve as showrunner.
Marvel’s Helstrom is the story of Deimon and Anna Helstrom, siblings who are the spawn of a serial killer. The two utilize their unique gifts to track down the terrorizing worst of humanity. Paul Zbyszewski (Lost) will serve as showrunner.
Ghost Rider and Helstrom are the latest Marvel series for Hulu, which recently ordered an animated Marvel-verse consisting of shows centered on M.O.D.O.K., Hit-Monkey, Tigra, Dazzler, and Howard the Duck. There’s no word as of yet if the streamer will order more Marvel shows in the near future.
Both series are set to premiere in 2020.
