FOX has released the official trailer for upcoming time travel comedy Making History and in it, we see that
From Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The Last Man on Earth), Making History follows the adventures of computer science professor Dan Chambers as he travels back and forth between the present and the 1700s to be with the colonial woman he fell in love with. Having recently discovered time travel, Chambers finds a home in the past that he doesn’t have in the present, where he’s socially inept and lacks any real connection; however, his actions in the past have the potential to cause reverberations for all of American history, as the woman he loves is Paul Revere’s daughter Deborah. In order to keep Revere’s infamous ride, which is threatened by this new presence in his daughter’s life, on schedule, Dan enlists history professor Chris Parish, but will Chris and Dan be able to keep American history on its proper course?
One of three new comedies FOX ordered for next season, Making History stars Adam Pally (Happy Endings), Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl), and Yassir Lester (Girls).
