Hulu has announced that horror drama Light as a Feather has been renewed for a 16-episode second season.

Based on a Wattpad story from Zoe Aarsen, with R. Lee Fleming Jr. (The Lying Game) acting as showrunner, Light as a Feather follows the supernatural fallout that comes from a game of “Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board” played by a group of teenage girls. When they start dying off in the ways predicted in the game, it’s up to the survivors to figure out why this is happening and how they can make it stop once and for all.

Returning for season two of Light as a Feather are Liana Liberato (The Last Sin Eater), Haley Ramm (Chasing Life), and Brianne Tju (Liv and Maddie). There’s no word yet on whether season one co-star Dylan Sprayberry, who is part of a fairly big cliffhanger, will be reprising his role.

Light as a Feather is part of a scripted slate for Hulu that includes The Handmaid’s Tale, Harlots, Future Man, Castle Rock, and Marvel’s Runaways. This year, the streamer will be debuting the likes of Shrill, PEN15, and The Act.

Will you be watching season two? If Dylan Sprayberry doesn’t return, how do you think they’ll write him out? Is there going to be a way for McKenna to rid herself of the curse without there being any more collateral damage?
