Deadline is reporting that FX is bringing three of its original scripted series to Comic-Con – The Strain, Legion, and Archer.
This will be the final Comic-Con go-around for Guillermo del Toro vampire drama The Strain, which will be ending its four-season run later this year. While the series will be moving from its traditional Hall H perch to Ballroom 20 for its July 20th panel, there’s no word yet as to which cast members and producers will be in attendance. You can check out a look at the final season of The Strain here.
Joining The Strain in Ballroom 20 is Noah Hawley’s Legion, which will be making its second Comic-Con appearance on July 20th. Expected at the show’s panel are Hawley, Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb, and series star Dan Stevens, with more cast likely to join closer to the convention’s start. Season two of Legion is expected to premiere 2018 on FX.
Finally, FX will be bringing animated comedy Archer to Ballroom 20, where fans can expect a sneak peek at the animated show’s ninth and potentially penultimate season. As with The Strain, it’s as yet unclear which of the show’s cast and creatives will be making the trek to Comic-Con this year, but KSiteTV will be sure to report on any clarity that comes to the plans for not only the Archer panel but the Strain and Legion panels, as well.
2017 Comic-Con is set to run from Thursday, July 20th through Sunday, July 23rd.
