CBS has released the official trailer for upcoming Kevin James comedy Kevin Can Wait and in it, we see that sometimes focusing on your career can lead you to ignore other aspects of your life.
From James, Bruce Helford (Anger Management), and Rock Reuben (Zookeeper), Kevin Can Wait tells the story of newly retired police officer Kevin (James), a man looking forward to spending quality time with his family now that he has the time and energy to do so. However, Kevin thought that his time away from the force would be peaceful and quiet when in actuality, it’ll be anything but; he discovers from his wife that things with his family aren’t as he thought and that each of his children has their own set of issues they (and he) must deal with. For years, Kevin was the provider for his family, but now that he’ll be home more often, he’ll get to know the life his wife led while he was on the force.
In addition to James, Kevin Can Wait stars Erinn Hayes (Childrens Hospital), Ryan Cartwright (Alphas), Lenny Venito (The Neighbors), Gary Valentine (The King of Queens), and Taylor Spreitler (Melissa & Joey).
Kevin Can Wait is set to premiere Mondays at 8:30 this fall before moving to 8:00 come October. You can check out the CBS 2016-2017 schedule here.
