Variety is reporting that Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene has added Camille Hyde (American Vandal) and Scream Queens alum Lucien Laviscount. They’ll be playing ultra competitive siblings Alexandra and Alexander Cabot, respectively. The former is a chic and intimidating New York socialite who works as the Senior VP at her family’s company, while the latter is CEO at the family company who dreams of rebooting its dormant record label division.

Described as a musical dramedy that takes place following the events of RiverdaleKaty Keene follows Veronica’s 20-something fashionista cousin Katy and her aspiring artist friends in New York City as they try to make it on Broadway, on the runway, and in the recording studio. This marks the second spinoff of Riverdale, joining Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which was previously in development at The CW before the streamer gave it a two-season order. Katy Keene hails from Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Michael Grassi.

In addition to her role on the Netflix mockumentary, Hyde has appeared on the likes of Heathers, The Good Doctor, and Suits, while Laviscount’s television credits include Episodes, Skin, and Snatch. They join a cast that includes Riverdale‘s Ashleigh Murray, who will reprise her role as aspiring musician Josie McCoy, as well as Jonny Beauchamp (Penny Dreadful) and Julia Chan (Saving Hope).

Katy Keene is part of a CW pilot slate that includes Jane the Virgin spinoff Jane the Novela; DC-verse spinoff Batwoman; new takes on Nancy Drew and The Lost Boys; and Glamorous, centering on a gender non-conforming YouTuber who stumbles into a job at a cosmetics company.
