While there don’t seem to be a lot of details yet about the Justice League Dark TV series that is coming from JJ Abrams for HBO Max, it is curious that DC Comics will be releasing an omnibus collection of almost all of the early Deadman comics in December 2020. Often times, these things happen when a major media tie-in is on the way.

One might notice that DC also recently released a huge Spectre omnibus, featuring another DC icon that was once rumored for his own series that is also tied to the DC mystical world, and The Phantom Stranger is due for an omnibus release in January 2021 — another character that would be perfect for Justice League Dark. If we see a Zatanna omnibus solicitation, we’ll definitely know something is up.

Right now, details about Justice League Dark are about as rare as information about the HBO Max Green Lantern project… so really, anything can happen. If Deadman does indeed show up in this series, then the clues were definitely here.

Here’s the solicitation for the Deadman collection. Be among the first to follow @JLDarkTV on Twitter!
