A new episode of Marvel’s Agent Carter airs tonight at 9PM on ABC, which makes now the perfect time to share our chat with Executive Producers Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters from the ABC party at the recent TCA press tour.

In addition to asking them about an Agent Carter Season 2, we asked about Peggy’s love life — especially considering the chemistry we’ve seen between Peggy and some of the men on the show.

HAYLEY ATWELL, JAMES D'ARCY“She still got to get over Captain America,” Michele Fazekas told us. “That’s kind of her whole journey. She still grieves him, so that’s a big part of her journey for this season.”

But, of course, there’s no denying Peggy’s chemistry with Edwin Jarvis (James D’Arcy), who has been available for Peggy day and night… is Mrs. Jarvis going to think that her husband is cheating?

“The one thing I love about the character of Jarvis is that he truly loves his wife, and as much as we see what wonderful chemistry she has with Peggy, it calls back to me more of the Mulder & Scully in the first several years of [The X-Files] where you really love their chemistry,” Tara Butters said.

JAMES D'ARCY“They love each other, but it sort of transcends the physical,” Fazekas added.

Finally, after the February 24 finale of the first season of Agent Carter, what’s next? Could there be an Agent Carter Season 2?

“Absolutely,” Butters confirmed. “The nice thing about this show is there’s a million different avenues they can go on. They can be investigating something entirely different. It could be in a different city, it could be in a different time… you will get closure from what’s going on this season, but there are so many stories to tell.”

Don’t miss a new Agent Carter tonight at 9 and feel free to come talk about the show on our forum!
