Deadline is reporting that Reign alum Rachel Skarsten has signed on for a recurring role on Bravo dark comedy Imposters. She’ll be playing Poppy, the private school educated elitist sister of Jules.
From Adam Brooks (Definitely, Maybe) and Paul Adelstein (Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce), Imposters follows con woman Maddie (Inbar Lavi) as she unknowingly finds herself in the crosshairs of her three most recent victims, all of whom are hell-bent on getting their money back after she swindled them. However, once the trio completely submerge themselves in the murky waters of the conning world, they find that they like it a little too much and what they know about their former wife isn’t all there is to her.
In addition to Lavi, Imposters stars Rob Heaps (Home Fires), Parker Young (Suburgatory), Marianne Rendón (Gemini), Brian Benben (Dream On), and Stephen Bishop (Being Mary Jane), with Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction) set to return in a recurring role.
Apart from her role on the CW period drama, Skarsten’s television credits include Lost Girl, Wynonna Earp, and Beauty and the Beast.
Imposters is set to return in 2018 on Bravo. When the series premieres its second season, it should be the only scripted series on Bravo following the recent cancellation of Odd Mom Out; flagship Bravo scripted series Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce will wrap its abbreviated run in early 2018.
