TruTV has released the trailer for upcoming comedy I’m Sorry and in it, we see that sometimes the life of a comedy writer can be funnier than anything they could dream up on the page.
From Andrea Savage (Episodes), I’m Sorry follows comedy writer Andrea (Savage), a married mother of one whose outer confidence masks the jumble of neuroses and immaturity that she is inside. The series chronicles Andrea’s life as she finds herself in unexpected situations that play into her neuroses and navigates a male-dominated career while raising her daughter Amelia.
In addition to Savage, I’m Sorry stars Tom Everett Scott (Southland), newcomer Olive Petrucci, Jason Mantzoukas (The League), Nelson Franklin (Veep), Martin Mull (Roseanne), and Kathy Baker (Picket Fences). The series is part of a scripted roster for truTV that includes fellow comedy Those Who Can’t, which completed its second season in December.
The series premiere of I’m Sorry airs Wednesday, July 12th at 10:00 on truTV.
