truTV has announced that Andrea Savage comedy I’m Sorry has been renewed for a second season, which should premiere in 2018.
“I couldn’t be more ecstatic to continue to apologize to all of my closest friends and family for bringing even more humiliation upon us,” said Savage.
Created by and starring Savage, I’m Sorry tells the story of comedy writer Andrea, a woman who seems as confident and put together as anyone. But beyond the handsome, successful, strait-laced husband Mike (Tom Everett Scott) and intelligent, inquisitive daughter Amelia (Olive Petrucci), she’s an (oftentimes) inappropriate bundle of neuroses and immaturity.
In addition to Savage, Scott, and Petrucci, I’m Sorry stars Kathy Baker (Picket Fences), Nelson Franklin (Veep), Martin Mull (Roseanne), Jason Mantzoukas (The League), and Gary Anthony Williams (The Boondocks). The series is part of a comedy roster for truTV that includes Those Who Can’t and Billy on the Street.
I’m Sorry airs Wednesdays at 10:00 on truTV. You can check out a clip from next week’s episode below.
