Nooooooo don’t take away our BATB! Brace yourselves CW Beasties WILL NOT be happy.

    2. lll on Dec 12, 2013 12:03 pm

This is proof that BATB is cancelled. The only way it comes back is if Star-Crossed or The 100 does poorly. More than likely it won’t since the Amell cousins are propping up the new shows. This is also proof that Hart of Dixie is moving to Fridays next season. The Monday move for the Tomorrow People is a chance to see how they’ll do on their own (since they couldn’t keep Arrow’s ratings).

    3. Taviee on Dec 12, 2013 12:06 pm

Batb writers only have themselves to blame. Viewers get more density and entertainment value in one single episode of Sleepy Hollow than the entire dull 2nd season that soiled the two leads.

    4. Taviee on Dec 12, 2013 12:38 pm

Netflix gods demand a nice neat ending. That may be the only saving grace for this show. It’s called BATB afterall, based off a fairy-tale. Who’s going to watch this on Netflix with an abusive story-line and a crappy ending? Maybe Vincent will be done with his first choice lady friends by March and Catherine will be there to take him back by the end. Clunker season with zero replay value.

Mondays are so hard. There’s too much big competition. Honestly, the CW should either do reality shows on Mondays, where it’d be easy to be profitable, or put their guaranteed-audience heavy-hitters there. Sleepy Hollow, airing at 9pm, started weeks before BATB and was an instant hit, so by the time BATB premiered, viewers are now DVR-ing it instead of watching live.

Of course, that’s Nielsen viewers counted for the ratings – which is made off some algorithm based on 10,000 people in the country that have the Nielsen box. This is why DVR and streaming numbers are important for CW shows, because the network knows it doesn’t have the presence of the others. It doesn’t even have as many dedicated stations as the others.

Anyway, it’ll be those other numbers that get BATB renewed, not the Nielsen stats. Thank goodness it has an international fan base.
