There’s a new episode of Hart Of Dixie airing on The CW tonight, and to promote it, The CW last week hosted a screening followed by a Q&A with the series creator, Leila Gerstein, who was joined by actors Wilson Bethel (Wade) and Cress Williams (Lavon).
Most of what they had to say was spoilery, and it will have to wait until after the episode has aired… but if you just can’t wait, we do have the trio talking about tonight’s guest star, Justin Hartley (Smallville), who plays someone from Wade’s past by the name of Jesse.
“I’m a big fan,” Gerstein said of the man who was once Green Arrow. Cress Williams revealed himself as a Smallville fan, so “it was cool.”
“And it was nice to have someone who was roughly my height. He actually made me feel small. I went to the gym immediately after,” Williams added.
Wilson Bethel enjoyed working with his co-star, but he did joke about some peculiar behavior. “The only thing that I thought was weird was that he showed up with a bow and arrow. I was like ‘dawg, we don’t roll like that’,” he said. (And before anyone thinks he was serious: Wilson was kidding around)
What else can we look forward to tonight?
“Guns, an affair, my potential death,” Williams teased. “Edible underwear, a bear, and an affair. That should have been the title,” Leila joked. Wilson Bethel was sure that title wouldn’t work. “Too many ampersands!”
