The six year long national nightmare is over.
I kid, sort of. Gossip Girl has a large and loyal fan base, but the Smallville fan in me will never forget how The CW would promote the heck out of GG while its Super-veteran remained grounded.
It’s been almost two years now, so I should be over that. But anyway: On December 17, The CW is planning a two-hour Gossip Girl send off event. There will be a wedding, there will be reminiscing, there will be a revelation of who the Gossip Girl actually is… and there just might be a preview of The Carrie Diaries within, too. Also look for some returning favorites to come back to the show.
