Freeform has set premiere dates for a trio of returning shows that’ll be changing nights come 2020.
The second half of Good Trouble season two will premiere Wednesday, January 15th at 10:00, a change from the show’s previous Tuesdays at 8:00 slot. It also marks a divergence from the network’s previous strategy of airing their scripted content solely at 8:00 buttressed by Disney movie lead-ins. The series gets its first test outside the 8:00 hour for its upcoming holiday special airing Monday, December 16th at 9:00.
The network is also doubling down on Thursdays come 2020, only its schedule doesn’t include previous Thursday stalwart Siren. Instead, Thursdays will feature the third season of Grown-ish premiering January 16th at 8:00; the series previously aired Wednesdays at 8:00. The following week, fashion dramedy The Bold Type returns at 9:00 after airing its previous season Tuesdays at 8:00.
Between them is the series premiere of Josh Thomas comedy Everything’s Gonna Be Okay, which premieres Thursday, January 16th at 8:30 with two episodes. The series, about a neurotic twenty-something forced to become the guardian of his siblings, will then premiere its third episode Friday, January 17th on Hulu, Freeform.com, the Freeform app, and VOD.
The Freeform January lineup is completed by the Party of Five reboot premiering Wednesday, January 8th at 9:00 with a two-hour premiere. The first episode will be made available to stream January 1st via Hulu, Freeform.com, the Freeform app, and VOD
