In the wake of last night’s Paley Center GLEE event, here are some new spoilers for upcoming episodes. GLEE returns April 13 on FOX.
To avoid accidental spoiling, the new material is below the cut:
– The April 13 episode is called “Hello.” In it, Sue will be back at McKinley High and again terrorizing Will.
– Finn will be “sort of” dating Rachel and Sue will be recruiting Brittany and Santana to seduce him to try and break them up.
– Finn isn’t yet totally over Quinn.
– Vocal Adrenaline singer Jesse St. James, played by Spring Awakening’s Jonathan Groff, makes his first appearance.
– Emma admits something to Will.
– Songs in “Hello” include The Doors’ “Hello I Love You,” the All-American Rejects’ “Gives You Hell,” Lionel Ritchie’s “Hello,” Neil Diamond’s “Hello Again,” The Beatles’ “Hello Goodbye,” and AC/DC’s “Highway To Hell.” See a trend with those songs?
– Puck and Rachel will get “another go.” Puck’s mohawk will at least temporarily go away.
– The second episode back (airing April 20) will have 10 songs by Madonna. Jane Lynch performs “Vogue” as Mercedes and Kurt try to give Sue a makeover.
– Kristin Chenoweth returns in the third episode back.
– Kurt tries to get his dad and Finn’s mom together in an episode.
– Kurt will be getting a boyfriend. “”He’s very different, but equally fabulous. I want them to be the power couple of the school,” Ryan Murphy says.
– Neil Patrick Harris will be singing two duets with Matthew Morrison when he appears on the show. One will be from Aerosmith and another will be a Billy Joel song. Harris will be playing “Bryan Adam,” a former glee club member and Will’s arch nemesis.
– Another future episode will have a Lady Gaga cover.
– There will be an episode during Season Two with all original music. Maybe Joss Whedon can/should come back for that one?
