Bravo has released cast portraits for the upcoming fourth season of critically praised dramedy Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce.
Season four of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce finds Abby and Barbara (Retta) working to firmly establish Lady Parts, their joint lifestyle website that focuses on women their age. The two are taking the lessons they’ve learned throughout their careers, including their ill-fated time at SheShe, in order to grasp the professional autonomy they’ve been missing while in the process putting something useful out into the world. Meanwhile, Jo’s (Alanna Ubach) relationship with Albert (Brian Markinson) grows as she continues to be in the dark as who he really is; Delia’s (Necar Zadegan) quest for personal and professional reinvention hits a snag as she falls for a co-worker at Legal Aid; and Phoebe (Beau Garrett) is torn between saving her marriage with JD (Aaron Staton) and friendship with Gemma (Daisy Betts).
Based on the Vicki Iovine novel series and developed for television by Marti Noxon (UnREAL), Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce follows self-help author Abby McCarthy (Lisa Edelstein) as she navigates a post-separation (and eventually post-divorce) life that does a number on her firmly established professional identity.
The fourth season of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce is set to premiere Thursday, August 17th at 10:00 on Bravo. You can take a look at the first promo for season four here.
