Syfy has released the first trailer for upcoming drama Ghost Wars and in it, we see that accepting one’s gift can sometimes be the difference between living and dying.
From Simon Barry (Continuum), Ghost Wars takes place in a small Alaskan town overran by paranormal forces. The key to the town’s survival lies with infamous outcast Roman (Avan Jogia), a man who must overcome his own demons to harness his dormant psychic powers and prevent the mass haunting from leaving his hometown a crater on the map.
In addition to Jogia, Ghost Wars stars Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil), Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy), and Kandyse McClure (Battlestar Galactica). The series joins a scripted slate for Syfy that includes Z Nation, Van Helsing, and Channel Zero.
Ghost Wars is slated to premiere this fall on Syfy. A more precise premiere date should be announced in the coming weeks.
