Fuse has revealed that acclaimed immigration documentary Indivisible will make its world premiere on Saturday, July 10th at 10:00.
“We are thrilled to have Indivisible premiere on Fuse as a part of its We the Dreamers documentary series. At a time when millions of families are at risk of being separated by deportation, we hope that Indivisible will shed light on a few of the human stories at the heart of a very politicized debate. At its core, Indivisible is a film about families, and we encourage audiences to think about their own families while watching the film and then visit www.indivisiblefilm.com to find out how they can support undocumented immigrants,” said Indivisible director Hilary Linder in a statement.
Linder’s film follows teenagers Renata, Evelyn, and Antonio as they deal with the deportation of their parents and siblings and forge a pathway to citizenship that will reunite their families. The documentary joins Right Footed (about the world’s first armless pilot) and Show Me Democracy (centering on seven St. Louis activists as they worked on creating change in their community) in Fuse’s We the Dreamers series, which highlights young, idealistic and diverse subjects confronting issues and overcoming prejudice as they celebrate their culture heritage and identity.
