Hulu has set a Wednesday, July 31st premiere for its upcoming series adaptation of Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Based on the 1994 Hugh Grant romantic comedy written by Richard Curtis (Love Actually), with Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) adapting for television, Four Weddings and a Funeral follows four American friends who reunite for a wedding in London, only for a major bombshell to send them all reeling. The series features relationships forming and collapsing, political scandal, love affairs, and the lampooning of London social life, as well as the title events.

Four Weddings and a Funeral is set to star Zoe Boyle (Downton Abbey), Nathalie Emmanuel (Furious Seven), Guz Khan (Curfew), Sophia La Porta (The Five), Harish Patel (Coronation Street), Nikesh Patel (Indian Summers), John Reynolds (Search Party), Rebecca Rittenhouse (Red Band Society), and Brandon Mychal Smith (You’re the Worst). It joins a summer slate for Hulu that includes a Veronica Mars revival and the third season of period drama Harlots.
