Maybe it just means she'll be the "first time" for fans, but old friends with Sam in that they met off-screen in those missing 4 months beforehand.Comment

Anyone else think in the CW's attempt to make the network "less for men and more for women" they forced this?
I mean they're getting rid of WWE Smackdown their highest rated show because they want their network to be solely aimed at females. Those of us who are guys (and those females who don't want to see romance on the show) should be worried that they'll either try to can Supernatural in favor of another lame model show, or they'll try to make it more for teenage beboppers.Comment

i hate that. CW there is already are chick networks its called oxygen and lifetime. lol
well supernatural i think got the go ahead for season 4 and 5 and 5 is supposed to be the last. although it does worry me that maybe with this we might not get the spinoff supernatural prequal. maybe we will get lucky and they can put it on sci fi if need be.Comment

Saw the first 5 minutes of S4 premiere at ComicCon..... looks SOOOOOo gooood! I do not think we'll be disappointed. The writers and the cast seemed really excited about this season.
ALSO - Kripke mentioned he threw out the words 'love interest' for Sam this season just to 'mess with us' because he knows how angry we get when they get the boys involved with a girl on the show lol. He said that Sam will be 'exchanging some bodily fluid with a girl' but that he won't be tied down and to not worry about 'lovey' stuff because he's not about to turn the show into a love fest.
They did say the show is going to get a lot darker.......
I just have to say, meeting Kripke and the writers (and Jensen) at ComicCon - Kripke was just super cool and seemed really interested in what the fans want. And he liked my shirt that I made lolLast edited by Ginx; 07-27-2008, 08:01 PM.Comment

07/28 - A screening of the first five minutes of the CW show's season 4 opener [reveals: ] Since Dean was left in hell the last time we saw him (after a rather messy and tragic exit from this mortal plane) seeing him literally crawling out of the grave was both heartening and terrifying. A newspaper in an abandoned gas station nearby tells both Dean and the audience that it's four months later, but the scene ended (with a mysterious force that knocks Dead out) before anything else could be revealed. Source: Entertainment Weekly
sounds really cool but only question is why wasnt deans body burned?Comment

And I'm guessing that Sam buried Dean, didn't burn him because he had some hope that Dean might come back and also because he couldn't stand to see Dean's body burn like all the others.Comment

There was A LOT of info - I just need to take a few minutes to get it all posted
The boys were so funny on stage - the panel should be on youtube you should try to check it out - they were all making jokes and just seemed generally happy to be there and happy that there were so many fans there for the show
----- Added 1 Minutes later -----
You should have seen Jared and Jensen's face when Kripke said 'swapping bodily fluids' they were both like WTF..... Jared said something along the lines of 'oh no not a kiss but swapping bodily fluids.....' it was great

Dean crawls out of the grave - he's in a makeshift wooden box and he's in the middle of a field in the middle of no where. It's sorta buffy-like but not really because it's just a different tone (at least to me) when he's crawling out.
The last scene is cool - he's in a gas station and washing up - then he goes out and starts grabbing food and stuffing his face (which makes us all laugh) then he stops and they show that he's looking a porn book and he smiles and takes that too..... then the tv comes on behind him (all fuzzy) and the radio comes on - then Dean runs to grab salt but the high pitch noise gets louder and louder and then blows all the windows out of the little room and Dean is knocked out....... it looked really cool.Comment

No, guess we'll find that out later on or something but no burns - it shows him looking in the mirror - having flashbacks to being torn apart but there are no rips, no blood and he's confused about it. He lifts up his shirt (lots of hoot's and howls for that at the con lol .... yum) but there is nothing there and then He lifts up his shirt sleeve and there is a burned hand mark on his arm (very X-Files like).

I am super-physched about Kripke's "this season is going to be darker" comment.
Supernatural has never been a light-hearted show, even when it tried to be more funny than usual (S1: Hell House, S2: Tall Tales, & S3: Mystery Spot/Ghostfacers), the overall tone of the show has been pretty dark (IMHO).Comment
