The story starts out before the video really begins. Elle has killed Meg. Something is off inside her and she doesn't know why. Veronica finds out and is devastated, by the loss of not only one sister, but both. (Elle doesn't die, just feels like it to her.)
The end circles back around to the beginning events that weren't seen.
