Thanks, Superhippie2000. Unfortunately it seems we won't see Ellen in the season finale, as you can see from the entry in her blog yesterday.

i say if they dont bring people back they should either give us a good explanation as to what happened to them or kill them off.

Right! For example, what happened to Jo, Ellen's daughter?

So True! Did the Trickster place him in a wormhole? We last saw him in "Covenant" and before that in the first season...

    eek, Dean's last day
if Dean really does go to hell, the fourth season will probably focus on Sam, Bobby, & Ellen (if she returns) getting Dean out

I think the audience kind of "hated" the character into oblivion (kind of a shame, threw in a nice dynamic)

Only 16 episodes? I thought the end of the writers' strike would mean at least 20 episodes like Smallville is having.

Well, Smallville managed to get 15 episodes done before the strike, whereas Supernatural only 12.

ya smallville got done more so they both have the same amount coming back but since supernatural had less before it will have less altogether.

03/12 - I'm hearing of a huge season-ending shocker involving Dean that I'd tell you about, but, well, it involves a word I normally have to spell out with double hockey sticks. But let's just say it might be one of the biggest jaw-droppers in Supernatural history-at least in my humble, Dean-loving opinion! Source: Kristin on E!Online

o man that sounds good. this sounds like it can actually mean we might see hell.

Poor Dean. It doesn't look so good for him!

I'm really sad this season is cut so short because of the strike. I've been re-watching seasons 1 and 2 and I must say I really love this show. It's a pity we don't see more of the demons freed from Hell at the end of season 2 before Dean's contract runs out because of the strike...
