the crystal breaking was pretty cool, although it was like the ring breaking in red, and the sword breaking in slumber.. it was still cool.

Oddly enough, even though it was slight, my favorite effect was the eclipse over the fortress.

I loveeed the part when Zor-El is floating, and says OF COURSE! JOR-EL'S SON! ...that part was awesome. It will stick with me forever.

^Yeas, that was cool. But I didn't like it when Zor-el arrived in the farm to greet Kara. That dark blur looked more like a phantom than a flying person.

The flying effects in Smallville are so CGI it's poor. They need to hire the SFX guys from Heroes. The flying in that is far superior.
