"Training" sequences

It seems like every episode thus far has had a scene of Jaime training with Jae. And they're always SO BORING. Does anyone else think the writers just throw that in to fill random time?

I think that must be it. I mean, they were okay when they were basically just there to showcase the actress's body. But now that they're attempting to actually use them for something like showing her train, blah, just not much else to say other than that, "blah".

I think they're trying to pull off the buffy thing - poorly. Buffy always sparred with giles, but there was repertoire and banter there. This is just mediocre.
