What is up with the Cockroaches?

I'd go for the drama part of the whole thing, I mean, ok...Sylar is a never-ending bastard, so that makes him a cockroache, nah...

There is something weird going on there though... like with the half helix thing...

I think Sylar is just really unclean so these damn cockroaches keep following him everywhere. The only time he took a shower was to go see his mom, and she's dead now. Either that or Merfish is right in his theory that Sylar used his cockroach army to kill our car-stealing friend.
