I don't remember the exact quote, but when Bizarro was talking to Lex he said something along the lines of:

"Why protect a Clark who hates you, when you can work with one who wants to be your ally? Isn't that what you've always wanted?'

If anyone can help with the exact quote, I would appreciate it.
