OK... I bought the season 6 DVD today and had the undeniable urge to watch season 5 instead. LOL!
So the third best thing about Arrival IMO, after watching it a minute ago, it John Schneider's performance of Jonathan Kent. He is so vulnerable in this episode.
He's falling all over himself in the broken down house, he's weeping in the hospital. He just did a wonderful job of keeping the stakes high. He really put his heart and soul into that character, and Arrival, an episode in which Jonathan is peripheral at best, is a wonderful example of this.
I miss John Schneider and Jonathan Kent.
