He definately has some power we havent seen yet. The first thing I said to my gf when Sylar popped up behind peter was "he definately has some other power we dont know about"

First, he did it at the high school when he appeared behind peter in a split second
Second, he did it when he killed Dale for her superhearing and Third, to peter again in the finale.

There was a theory speculating that he can "shadow meld" or move in the shadows. Its an interesting theory
