I heard that supernatural wasnt going to have a major cliffhanger like last year. but im pretty sure it will have some type of cliffhanger since most of the episodes do. i really dont think we will find out anything about ellen this season so that could be a cliffhanger. and maybe the roadhouse sstuff. but either way its going to be a long long summer.

Lost is a cliffhanger still from season 1 lol. we still havent learned anything lol. Supernatural atleast sums up what happened throughout the season lol. either way i like both shows lol.

I agree with you there. Lost has been one giant cliffhanger. Season 1 was the best. But they did annouce that the seaon will end in 2009 so at least we know there is an end in sight - Too bad it's gonna take 2 seasons to get all the answers.

That's what I like about Heroes and Supernatural - you get your freaking answers at some point - sooner rather than much much much later. Smallville.....well.....still waiting on quite a few things.....lol

      Oh well....that's entertainment.

        b) He liked that Sam is skilled in all areas and especially in demonology so the demon thought he'd have the best chance.

I too liked it when they had the flashback and the demon was like it's a flashback in HD it's not really happening now, there's nothing you can do.

I was wonder how the demon knew about HD (High Definition) tv...maybe he watches Gilmore Girls...and that's why he had a soft spot for Sam. Hehehe it all makes sense now!

        I'm totally kidding

I enjoy your Clark and Sam comparison, I am obsessed with both shows so I adore it when people do that. Not to mention John died to protect and give his life for his son like Jonathan did on Smallville last year.

        !

ya im just wondering what he told the other special people. but sam does have a lot of resources the demon can use to stop the hunters and perhaps gather an army of creatures or something.

ya it was kind of weird the demon knows what HD is. the YED probably hangs out with his homies and grooves to the music on his iPOD. lol. Maybe the YED created HD to drian us of our money and turn us into mindless drones. mmmmm colors pretty mmmm.

ya that is true. i bet we can find lots of comparisons to both shows lol. they do tend to use the same sets and guest stars too.

i wonder if bobby will wind up having more of a role next season. deans seems to go to him like he would his dad when he needs help. im glad dean has someone to help him out.

a few episodes ago gordon mentioned his connections i thought it was ash so if ash is dead now then perhaps it is bobby. that would be interesting if bobby is agianst them. i hope not tho.

ya thats true. i like the suspense of waiting even tho i hate to wait but as long as its summed up by the end of the season im happy. then they leave more open for the next season so thats cool. Smallville tends to fill its plotholes with those interactive games. supernatural has those comics now with the back story before dean found sam and stuff but thats cool but i wouldnt want them filling in what happened to the roadhouse by comics only or anything else that is going on now.

Did anybody else notice that Mary knew who the demon was because she said "It's YOU."

Did she somehow make a deal with him before that and that was the reason Sam was chosen?

The demon also said that there were other generations so maybe Mary had the same thing happen to her?

Since the demon said there are other generations..this implies that similar events may have taken place in the past with the chosen children of past generations..and perhaps Mary may have been one of the gifted..and thus that why the YED came after Sam..and other children like him who were somehow linked to the YED from previous generations.

If Mary was from the previous generation then it would explain how she knew who he was.

Maybe Mary was gifted, perhaps even the leader, so Sam would almost have been pre-chosen or I dunno first thought to the demon.

Coming from Mary and having training through John and the hunting it would make Sam the perfect leader.

Maybe Mary did what the demon told her to do, lead an army and what not then he granted her the rest of her life to do whatever she wanted but with a promise that he'd be back someday.

Am I making any sense or am I just insane?

yup i knew that she probably knew the demon. he mentioned to sam something like these people arent the first group or something. so he indicated that there was people long ago that where choosen. im thinking that may be a focus to next season or something. like the history of the choosen ones or something.

could be but agian that may be answered next season.

            yup thats what im thinking.

all that makes sense. i think she was one of the choosen and she made a deal. perhaps she would have been the one to lead sam and not john. john probably didnt know anything about it. also last week with the genie dude perhaps he really does she an alternate universe of what could have happened not just wgat you want to happen. cause seriously why would dean want his father dead. if the genies vision was what should have happened then perhaps since sam was still doing the school and getting married to jess and their mom backed out of teaching sam then the demon actually killed john back then to warn her or something.

i just cant wait for next weeks episode and then season 3n so we can get more answers. i want the dvd too so i can rewatch these episodes and pick up on things i have missed so i can follow the story arc from begining to end and know what it leads too.

The whole AU universe was the results of Dean's wish for his mother to live. What happened in the AU was if that wish came true and Mary did live her full life and the demon never came and attacked them.

In both versions of the story, John is dead, but in the AU he died of natural causes of a stroke. In the "real" world he died as a father, a protector and a hero.

(We all know that was only cause Jeffery Dean Morgan wasn't available)

Mary never would have been the one to lead the boys, John had all of his military and survival training, so the demon knew John obviously would have been the perfect candidate to train the boys.

I don't think Sam was the demon's favorite from the start. I'm completely unspoiled, and might be proven wrong. But it seems like the demon "created" (with it's blood) all of these special kids, then sat back to see which one rose to the top. Any of them could've ended up being favorite. But, then, Sam grew up to be smart, and strong-willed, and recieved all of that training from John. (Which wasn't a sure thing. As we saw, another father who went through what John did didn't go into demon-hunting and train his son to hunt evil. John could've just as easily have turned out to be like Max's father.) So, over the years, the demon started to favor Sam.

It seems like all the stuff it's been doing this season (appearing to other "special" kids and trying to coax them into doing things) was a test, to see how they would handle it. And most of them (like Andy's brother) didn't handle it well. But Sam, whose gone through as much badness as any of the "special" kids, managed to survive and stay strong...and sane. Thus further proving to the demon that Sam should be "the one."

I find it ironic that John, the guy who was a major thorn in the demons' side, the guy the demons tried (and finally managed) to kill on a regular basis, is probably the reason Sam is the one the demon wants to be its leader.

Yeah it's kind of tragic irony isn't it?

How sad, but still can't wait for Thursday!!!

Yeah, Jake wasn't actually in the truck accident. Someone else was and Jake saved him by using his super strength to lift the truck off of the guy.

Like Jake said, he ain't Superman. He's superstrong. But it looks like his body is just as vulnerable to damage as anyone else's is.

I still don't wanna believe dear sweet Ash is dead, maybe Ash did plant the watch on someone I dunno I just found it weird that everything else was burnt to hell except for the watch.

It should have been melted but it looked almost fine except for the glass being cracked.

Looked like it was put on the corpse AFTER the fire.

Ash sure as hell wouldn't be the first CW candidate to fake their own death

Anyone else feel a little ripped off we didn't actually get to SEE the Roadhouse exploded?

All I'm saying is when they find Ellen they better do some kind of flashback to show the explosion and how Ellen got out and supposedly Ash didn't.

I think that's reason they showed us the watch after Ash had spoken to Dean on phone so when the Roadhouse burned down we'd know who Ash was amongst the corpses.....

                                He surely must have died....
