I wanted the "what you lost" comment that Lex said to be shrouded with ominous, dark, creepy music ... instead it was Rise Against, hehe.

    It wasn't that bad, though!
I found that the music drowned out the conversation at the end. Luckly though I also watched the director's cut so it didn't really matter.

In case anyone's interested, here are the lyrics that were heard in that scene in the barn between Clark and Lex from "Roadside" by Rise Against (great selection by the music choice people. This captures the tragedy of Clark and Lex's enmity, but with a sense of bittersweet loss to it):

"Tell me what I'm supposed to do,
With all these leftover feelings of you,
        'Cause I don't know,
And tell me how I'm supposed to feel,
When all these nightmares become real,
        'Cause I don't know,

And I don't think, you see the places inside me that I find you,
And I don't know, how we separate the lies here from the truth,
And I don't know, how we woke up one day somehow thought we knew,
Exactly what we're supposed to do."

In other, music news, for those of you familiar with the various cues from Superman: The Movie, there's a couple of notes that seem to be ripped right out of "The Helicopter Sequence" just as Clark is catching Lana from her fall in the mansion.

                jonpetersbites,

Nice catch there. I didn't notice that. I love when they do music from the movie and change it up a bit.

I didn't just hear sounds from "Squeeze" in the 1st act of "Trespass" ...

                  Ah, Eugene Victor Tooms ...

"Is there anyway I can get it off my fingers quickly without betraying my cool exterior?"
