            Let's see

-To much of a tie in to the Clexana drama, even then it felt like limited Lex and Clark(although in all honesty that might be a positive when it comes to Clexana drama crap)
-The villain was beyond ridiculous(for some reason he went crazy because Lana was so wonderful and he thought that killing her was the only way to save her?)
-Lana came off terrible peeping around Clark's place, I'll give her a free pass on the chisel, but she had 0 rights going in his place to spy on him
-2 episodes before she gets married she finally clues in to something being weird with Clark, holy unneeded drama(and it only gets worse 2 episodes later). They basically had 5 1/2 years to do this storyline and wait to the worst possible time to actually do it

Like a bulk of Season 6 episodes, I think the Clexana triangle stuff drags down the episode. It could have been an ok episode if you taken out the Clexana stuff but add it into the mix the episode is piss poor.

            • My thoughts on Trespass

I am not too fond of Lana centric episodes such as this one. It's too much darkened creepiness of the sneaky Lana, Clexana, Clana, Lexana and the stalker guy angle with very little lightness to it with the snow, the forming of the Climmy friendship starting to happen along with the Chlimmy reunion, the Chlark barn interaction and the Chlana talk at the talon apartment. But do Lana and Chloe have to talk with only the fire going in the background and not very much lighting? I'll rate this episode a 2 or 3 at least because it's a more of a filler with a darker edge of a creepy horror film feel to it and I hate that feeling to an episode like that.

What I did and didn't like about this episode is:

1 Hated Lana's lack of boundaries regarding Clark's privacy by going through his personal belongings in search of clues of his secret in his bedroom.

2 Loved Lana protecting Clark from Lex by keeping Lex at arm's length regarding finding out Clark's secret and not involving him in her quest of figuring out Clark's secret by not showing Lex the photo of the bent chisel.

3 Hated not having Clark see the security guard shooting the photographer that was harassing Lana but showing up when the photographer ends up dead on the hospital floor in front him after hearing the gun go off.

4 Loved how Clark caught on who was behind the all the creepy phone calls and knows who Lana's stalker was in the hospital scene according to his expression on his face watching Lana and the stalker guy leaving the hospital together. I mean how many security guards do you know put their arm around Lana's shoulder while escorting her out of the premise in front of her ex boyfriend?

5 Hated the Clex barn scene, I didn't mind Lex remembering past events of Crimson and reminding Clark of his past actions prompting him to say "I wasn't myself that night…..I'm sorry." What i didn't care for was Lex's bitterness and his comments about him and Lana after this episode's events along with past events of Crimson. And what's up with inviting Clark to the wedding to see what he lost? talk about twisting the knife even deeper. Resentful much Lex? apparently he likes hurting Clark more than he has already by taking away everything from Clark (and by everything I mean Lana). After being so kind to Clark in the past, this was very heartless and cruel of Lex.

              and last but not least.

              6. Loved the security guard's comment about wanting to save Lana from Lex in the mansion scene I just hated his justification of his inappropriateness of his questionable behavior and tactics as his way of saving her from Lex. He is right about her becoming more like Lex though she is becoming just as dark as Lex. but I can't blame him for trying to rescue Lana from Lex because it's making him sick to see how Lex is influencing and controlling her life it's making me sick seeing that so I can see this from his perspective. I just think he could have used different tactics, instead of becoming a psycho lana stalker. He can't change who Lana is, but he could give her back her old life before Lex happened to her if Lana had just given him chance to if she wanted that life back or just have him kill her and put her out of her misery and save Clark and Lex from damaged goods that is Lana. So that way Clark and Lex won't be as Lana obsessed and can move on and fall out over their differences in personality and moral principles instead of the love of a woman. I'm only saying this because I've never liked Lana, I never have and I never will. Not after all she's put Clark and Lex through over the years with her drama, unfair mistreatment of them, distrust and judgment. I don't like her inconsistency of her poorly written character and Dark Lana doesn't look appealing to me though it is very interesting to watch and this episode brings out her duplicity to light even more.

Final thoughts on the episode Trespass

This is why it should have Lionel in it, because any episode with Lionel in it makes the episode a whole lot better. Lionel is the most strongest character on the show along with Lex in my honest opinion. And this is why this episode in particular makes me love Lois that much more only because it makes me wish that Lana could be more like Lois and she showing us that she's isn't her in this episode or any of the other episodes before this one. Lana is showing us that she is the polar opposite of Lois.

              • Lana gets a stalker... must be a tuesday. Okay, to be fair, this is like the first time since season 3, that the villain of the week is obsessed with Lana. The episode is Lana-centric. But, how could it not have been, after the whole business with the bent chisel? You can't do something like that, without some follow-up, in the next episode. The alternative would've been to do an unrelated story, for this episode. Then bring the chisel back for "Promise", several episodes later. Some of the viewers might even have forgotten it by that point.

Part of the problem with the episode is that it doesn't see any real conclusion to the whole Lana digging around and trying to uncover Clark's secret. That final discovery is left for several more episodes. So, we're not seeing Lana uncover the truth. We see Lana snooping around in Clark's bedroom (which is totally okay for her to do) and ended up with dead ends. The episode would've had more weight to it, if it had carried the final reveal of Clark's secret to Lana. Another problem is that the Lana trying to discover the truth about Clark plot, gets tangled and hijacked by the unnecessary stalker plot.

                • Not sure how many people remember this, but the chisel subplot was explained in a scene that was cut out from the final version. It's Clark who actually stole it back from Lana. At the time, before the episode came out the CW would release preview clips from unedited scenes. And ahead of Trespass they released a clip that showed Clark hiding the bent chisel in a tool box before Lex dropped by to give him the wedding invitation. I guess they deleted that part to add more intrigue to the chisel cliffhanger and make the audience wonder if Lex got his hands on it.

Trespass also kickstarted the "Lana lies in a hospital bed" trend for the 2nd half of season 6. Which was probably related to a back injury Kristin Kreuk was dealing with at the time.
