Batman cameo episode backed out?

From the mood and music, it is obvious that it was meant as a gotham city dark style. The girl is a pale imitation of batman.. To me it sound like thsi was an episode writen for a young vengefull batman episode appereance but for some reason they backed out and re-wrote it...

You know its weird. I just saw this ep, and up until Clark stopped strangling the streethug I thought Clark was acting exactly like Batman. Batman is pretty mucht he polar opposite of Clark. Batman is out for justice and Clark looks out for the greater good.

I did like this episode because it shows how Superman and Batman think differently and why they initially did not get along.
