    Episode 2.10: Title Unknown
    Airdate: December/January 2006

09/20 - Exec producer Eric Kripke [reveals:] "You know how Sam has these psychic premonitions? Well, we're introducing a character named Ava in Episode 10, and she is having psychic premonitions of Sam. How are they connected? What part do they serve in the overall demonic conspiracy? Can they meet up? She's just a regular girl, getting married in six months, not any part of this crazy world at all, and she just gets sucked into this." Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide

The episode title for 2.10 is up on another fansite as "Hunted". I looked but couldn't confirm this title on Spoilerfix or any of the other usual sources, but they usually have pretty accurate information.

This episode finds Dean and Sam separated and Dean looking for Sam. Also, Ava has a premonition about Sam dying and tracks him down to warn him.

10/23 - We meet Ava Wilson, a young woman who has a dream about Sam Winchester being blown to bits from an explosion. Ava tracks down Sam to warn him that he's in danger. Sam realizes they are connected and have the psychic visions in common. Sam tells her they are part of something bigger than she can imagine and she gets hysterical, telling him she can't be, that he's wrong and she's going to live a normal life. He insists he needs her help and she agrees to stay and help. Dean learns from Ellen where Sam is and goes to find and help him. Source: SpoilerFix.com

^^ I agree. If it doesn't happen in this episode, then I think it will happen at the end of 9, based on the spoilers. Plus, Kripke said in an interview that it would be revealed mid-season so this would be about the right time.

Considering how Croatoan/the "holiday season-hiatus" ended, I wonder if we'll find that Sam got real freaked out about whatever it is that Dean relays to him - that John told Dean, about Sam - and Sam "runs away"; and that's why "we find the brothers separated this episode". And the spoilers also indicate that Dean is working hard to find Sam, meaning the decision to separate was most likely not mutual or agreed upon.

Just seems to have that potential.

I agree, I think Sam will leave after Dean tells him. Either because he is just freaked out or he thinks Dean will be safer without him around (this coming from the Sam is part demon theory). Who knows, but it does have potential to be a really great episode.

One thing I want to know, how does Ellen know where Sam is? Why would he call and tell her where he was going?

maybe 'cause she knows now, so she'd be the only other person he could talk to.

12/20 - After Dean tells Sam what their father told him before he died, a distraught Sam sneaks off to Indiana without Dean. While there, Sam runs into Eva (guest star Katherine Isabelle), a psychic who confesses to Sam she sought him out to warn him of his impending death. Dean discovers Gordon (guest star Sterling K. Brown) is after Sam and races to find his brother in time to save him.

Not a whole lot of new information, but it does confirm that Dean finally tells Sam and that is why Sam leaves.

                          Just for fun, I'm gonna try to guess the entire episode, just based on spoilers;

Teaser: A young woman {Ava} dreams about Sam dying in an explosion and wakes up all scared & physically showing it.

                          ---------- Supernatural burns in ----------

First Act: Dean wakes up in a motel room somewhere, and finds Sam missing. Starts freaking, tries to contact Sam by cell phone & fails, and we see flashbacks of "the talk". - Then we get a location shot for Sam's whereabouts, while getting more (or the entire) talk/discussion in Sam's flashbacks of "the talk".

                          (commercial break)

Second Act: Dean calls Ellen to see if Sam has called her; and he finds out that Sam has. Ellen also lets on that she either knows or thinks that Gordon is hunting Sam. - Sam meets Ava and she tells him her visions and he tells her she is part of something big, which freaks her the hell out. - Gordon is shown, watching Sam.

                          (commercial break)

Third Act: Dean is racing to Sam's location, still trying to call him and warn him about Gordon. Calls Ellen to tell her to call Sam and warn him, since he won't answer Dean's calls. - Sam's still trying to convince Ava that she has powers and is being targeted by demons, thus needing his protection. Also needing her to describe her visions as accurately as possible, to find out exactly when/where and how he dies. From thus, he gleans its Gordon as the killer, and thus starts looking out for him. - The time nears that Sam's death is set to occur, and Sam/Ava do what's necessary to avoid his death, thus bringing Gordon out in the open. Dean shows up and he & Sam subdue Gordon (again), and reuniting the brothers.

                          (commercial break)

Final Act: Ava comes to terms, in a sense, what's in store for her future; her and the brothers say goodbye. Sam & Dean have a heartfelt (maybe even tearful) reunion discussion, and then set off down the road towards the next case.

                          * Episode maybe ends at The RoadHouse.

12/30 - Dean tells Sam what their father said before he died; Sam employs Ash (Chad Lindberg) to track down other psychics, a search that results in Sam traveling to Indiana, where he encounters more than he bargained for. Gordon Walker: Sterling K. Brown. Ellen Harvelle: Samantha Ferris.

Ellen and Jo's last name is Harvelle? Different.

Still think that Sam's going "psychic hunting" is without Dean's knowledge or acceptance.

And my guess is that what we've spec'd is mostly true, the demons are after people like Sam to inhabit. And he's going to try & warn them against the upcoming danger.

Also, depending on how they shot the episode, it could be really rushed. You'll have the "talk", Sam going to Ash to track down psychics-going to IN, Dean missing Sam/calling Ellen, Gordon hunting Sam/Dean killing the Impala's motor to get to IN in time to save Sam from Gordon, Sam/Ava interactions, Sam-Dean/Gordon fight, and brothers' reunion AND a possible Roadhouse ending.
